About Me
Aged 42, married with two girls 13 & 10. Proud member of Albir Bowls Club, Costa Blanca. Came to Spain in 2004 and started bowling Dec 2005. Selected for Spanish Squad Sep 2006, first test match v Portugal 2007. Won three national titles in 2008 including mens singles. Bowl with normal Tigers and play lead in the Triples & Rinks. Nick-named The Sponge by my Trips & Rinks skip 'Jockstrap' Johnson due to my ability to absorb all bowls-related info. Biggest regret in life - should have taken up bowling when i lived in York. You cheeky YOUNG whippersnapper!! Actually, I was talking to Pat Halliwell the other day and she was surprised to hear that you were 42. She thought you were in your late 20's. I told her that she "should have gone to Specsavers"!! (Only joking!). TWO WEEKS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!
